About Me

Hi, I’m Adel Sehic, a software developer focused on building performant backends and reliable services. I specialize in Golang, with over four years of experience writing enterprise-grade code.

I also work across the full stack, from embedded microservices to fullstack applications, with well designed and performant APIs for the task. I adapt to whatever language or tool the job requires.

Systems and infrastructure are a core part of what I do. I manage my own Linux servers and networks, deploy and maintain services, and optimize setups for stability and performance. I like understanding how all the pieces fit together, from applications to the underlying systems.

My goal is to build software and systems that are efficient, maintainable, dependable, and secure - lessons learned the hard way :)

  • Developed backend services in Go and user interfaces in PHP within a legacy codebase spanning over 20 years, requiring careful integration with existing systems.
